yes the k10 is better than 400d; but not 30/40d

It is better than the 30/40D. I can't think of a single thing the Canons excel in, other than maybe better noise performance at higher ISOs. But that is a non-issue for me. K10D is better built, is extremely configurable, has sensor cleaning & SR, the lenses are cheaper as well. :iconhellotharidiot:

cheaper lenses ? may be cheaper but quite limited still...
what canon excels in ? lenses . wide range ... very good glass ; better noise performance at high iso. it's much more versatile than pentax... be real...
Canon kicks ass with his 5d, the affordable entry level ff, which pentax doesn't have; and guess what ... they'll continue to make aps-c kind cameras.

sensor cleaning? so does canon .. SR? be honest . would you ever use that ?

ps: you know why am i soooo anti-pentax ? because all the people that say it's better , just say that ... they don't own one . and if they own one they do nothing with it, besides saying it's better .
get real dude, it's not a versatile camera... you'll never see a wedding photog, nor a fashion or events ... nor you will ever see a pentax on a stadium .
