[link] - Busuioacă de Bohotin. My favourite wine and the only one I enjoy drinking. Close friends know I dislike most forms of alcohol.

Busuioacă de Bohotin is a unique grape which grows in one small area of Romania, the county of Iaşi, around the town of Husi. The wine has a light red color, unidentifiable with any other wine. Its flavor is unique too, resembling honeysuckle and ripe juicy peaches, with a perfect harmony of sugar, alcohol and acidity. The sweet taste sometimes has a barely perceptible almond like bitter aroma.

A good way to end the Easter Holiday. Back to work and back to Bucharest.

I used to like red wines, and now I've completely fallen in love with dessert wines, but only the very best, which is none other than the Château d'Yquem, originally made for kings :) I also like other forms of white wine, those that are sweeter on the palette, rather than dry. Some Rieslings are very nice

I never drink anything "New World", which I think serve as table wine at the very best.

Also when it comes to alcohol, wine is always my personal preference to cocktails, unless the wine list is just horrible, where nothing is from France, Italy or Germany.

And by the way I just noticed how cute that wine glass is :giggle: Looks somewhat a cross between a Bordeaux Glass and a White Wine Glass with tulip edges.

What an interesting timing. :o

Details to come soon.
I don't much like white wine. Don't know why, just not my cup of tea. Rieslings in particular are bleh (for me. Others enjoy it and I'm very glad they do)
I don't like French, Italian or German wines. Tried most of the more important "brands".

I picked up the glass in a hurry, filled it up, and went out in the yard to take some pictures, as a storm was fast approaching. About 10 seconds after I went indoors again, a hailstorm came. :o

Of why this was a good timing. :slow:
I only like sweet Rieslings... I forgot the name of one I had once... but it was surprisingly good.

I suppose wine is a very fickle thing, and very much something that needs seeking out
